These are unfortunately becoming a rarity in Shanghai. While they were once plentiful, these Food Streets are being closed in the name of progress and a growing metropolitan society. One of the last (and possibly soon-to-be-gone) streets for sampling a wide variety of Chinese cuisine is at the corner of Wujiang and Shimen Yi Road. If going by metro, get off at West Nanjing Road on Line Two and head out through Exit Three.
