Dude, where's my house?

House robberies are common enough, but have you heard of the one where the thieves made off with the house itself?

A Malaysian man recently made his usual trip to his property to collect rent from the tenants - only to find that he could no longer find his house.

The thieves had dismantled the structure and taken it all away, along with the furniture, cutlery and refrigerator. All they left were 24 concrete pillar holders, some pieces of wood and a damaged television set.

 

No sex and nudity please, we’re Singaporean!

A migrant worker and his girlfriend, both Thais, have each been fined S$1,000 (US$ 790) for having sex in a public park in Singapore. The two were caught by a policeman who heard some noises coming from a bush. The couple could have also been jailed for three months for the offence.

In April 2009, a Swedish man and a Singaporean woman were each fined S$ 2,000 for walking stark naked in Holland Village, a neighbourhood popular with expatriates. The Swede, an activist for safe sex, said he did not know public nudity is an offence in the city state.

 

The poor little old rich lady

We've all heard about the email scams claiming that you have inherited or won hundreds of thousands of dollars. They ask you to email your bank account details to them so they can send the windfall to you.

Those are now old hat. More recent versions offer you a reward for helping with some worthy cause. One that has been making the rounds supposedly comes from an old lady in Hongkong who has millions to give to the poor and needy.

The killer tit-bit

This one’s not from Asia, and it’s been widely reported, but it’s such a good one that we feel we must include it.

Orit Fox is an Israeli model known for her ample bosom. Recently, she was filmed fondling, licking and generally teasing a rather formidable-looking snake. The snake was not amused and it suddenly bit her on her breast.

Fox was immediately rushed to the hospital. She survived the bite, but the snake did not. It was poisoned by the silicone in Fox's implants.
