The pop idol tweeted, "Can't stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future." But just who is she talking about?

This week, she turned up at the Grammy Music Awards in an egg and went home with three awards.

Her latest release "Born This Way" became the fastest-selling single on the iTunes store, topped the download charts in 21 countries and made history as Billboard's 1000th Number One - ranking song.

Yet in the midst of all this success, it was a ten-year-old's rendition of her latest single that got US pop star teary-eyed.

"Can't stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future," she told her fans.

The "she" that Lady Gaga is talking about is Canadian-born Filipino Maria Lourdes Aragon.

In fact, Maria impressed Gaga so much she has now been invited to do a duet with the pop star at her Toronto concert in March.

Here's the video. Enjoy!
